I had a ton of fun writing this one. It started out as pure Id indulgence, but evolved into something a lot more layered as the characters developed depth and personality. In the end it turned out to be an exercise in genre-writing (horror, suspense, contemporary writing) that I've never challenged myself with in just this way before. I'm really excited to share it with all of you!

I just finished up the final edits on my original novel The Charming this past week and sent them off to my publisher. There were surprisingly few grammatical suggestions from the proofreader, along with some very positive comments about my characters and the story's plot as a whole that left me feeling very happy and encouraged. I'm hoping all of you will have just as positive a reaction to it! :)

I had such a fun time working on this novel. If I had to describe it, I'd say it's part horror story, part mystery, part m/m romance, part dark erotic BDSM, and part suspense/thriller. I believe the release date is scheduled for October 2012, but that's all the information I have right now. I'll post an announcement as soon as the book is available!

My supernatural suspense novel The Charming has just gone through its final round of edits and is moving on to final proofreading. I'm really excited to share this one with all of you. It was so much fun to write!

There will be an information page for this book added to my website just as soon as I can get one up and running. I'll post the link on my Novels page when I have it ready. I'm hoping to get a cover image for the novel from the publisher soon.

It's kind of hard to come up with a description for this one. Basically it's a m/m BDSM story with supernatural and strong semi-consensual elements in it. A cautionary erotic fairy tale about being careful what you wish for, because you just might get it. ^_^

Summary: Clayton MacAllister should have been perfectly happy. He had a beautiful wife, a son, a job that could -- with effort -- turn into a promising career. But the shadow of a past love kept him from recognizing any of his current blessings, and he ended up losing it all. He's given up on the idea that he might ever be truly happy, until the night when a handsome, charming stranger steps into his life and sweeps him away... a stranger who turns out to be much more than what he appears.

I received the ebook proof for Pathfinder this evening. I can't describe how incredible it is to hold a book I've written in my hands (well, on my Kindle anyway ^_^). It looks like everything is on track for the novel's estimated release on Friday.

Just a quick update on my recent books. Both volumes of The House of Silence are currently for sale (so exciting!). So far the feedback and reviews I've been getting on them have been very positive.

For those of you who have been waiting so patiently for a print version of the novels, I heard from the publisher that they are close to having a template for print books prepared soon. I'm hoping to be able to announce that the print versions are available for both volumes in the very near future.

The tentative release date for Pathfinder is June 29th. Just a week away! I just sent off the author's notes and dedication this morning, which was the last bit of input the publisher needs from me before preparing the ebook. I'm expecting to see a copy of the proof any day now.

Nicholi's Vengeance is all ready to go, but I hear there are issues with the cover that still need to be resolved before it can be released. As soon as I hear anything more on that one, I will be sure to let all of you know.

I have editor's revisions on The Charming at last and am hard at work on preparing a revised manuscript for final proofreading. I hope to have more info on that one to offer soon, as well as a webpage set up for it on my website.

So much seems to be happening so quickly lately, with lots of publications anticipated within the next couple of months. I'm really excited about it. As always, if you have any questions or comments, be sure to let me know.

I received the proofreader's suggested edits for Volume 1 of The House of Silence this weekend. I'm told to expect the edits for Volume 2 by next weekend, and that the structure for the ebook and print versions of both volumes is being prepared. We're definitely getting close to releasing both novels!

The novel is coming soon from ForbiddenFiction Publishing. It's in the queue for publication and (I believe) currently in the copyediting stage. I'll post more updates about the novel's release date as soon as I get more information.
