October 9, 2019 The Magician's Apprentice was recently reviewed on the Love Bytes (LGBTQ Book Reviews) blog and received 4.5 stars!!! I'm so happy with the success this book has been having. Over a month in and it's still in the top 10 in LGBT fantasy on Amazon! I put so much into this story over so many years, it's wonderful beyond words to be having this experience now. For those of you who are wondering, the Dragon Mage Chronicles will be released soon as well. I'm doing a final editing of the books and hope to be releasing them very soon. Thanks again to everyone who has offered me so much support and encouragement in my writing over the years. You all are an amazing group of people. :)

August 24, 2019 I've received the proof for the paperback version of The Magician's Apprentice, and it is so beautiful!!! This story was 20 years in the making, and it feels absolutely unreal to hold this newest incarnation of it in my hands right now. It's changed a bit since the original version that I posted to the egroup all those years ago, with added scenes and depth to flesh out the characters and the world they live in. July 26, 2019 I've been working hard preparing the paperback version of The Charming, and just submitted the final draft for review on KDP! I'm anxious because this is the first paperback book I've released using Amazon's new print distribution center instead of CreateSpace. It's actually quite a bit easier, I think, and I believe it went really well. I'll post a link to it here just as soon as it becomes active. If this one turns out to be a success, I'll go ahead and convert each of my other re-releases to paperback as well. It will take a little bit of time, but not as much as I was originally anticipating. Thank you to all of you who have been so supportive during this process. May 26, 2019 I feel like I'm neck deep in far too many writing projects these days, which is an overwhelming and wonderful experience. I can easily remember what it was like to be lost in drought where it felt like ages between projects, and the wait between finishing a novel and seeing it in print could literally stretch for years. Becoming my own publisher is the best move I've ever made. It's brought back that immediacy between my writing and the sharing of it that I've been missing, and has lit a spark of excitement in me for writing that's been missing for far too long. With the return of the rights to my novels from FFP, I've been caught up in getting all of those ready for re-release. Plus I have the fourth book in the Sacred Guardian series that needs a final polishing before it's ready for publication. I'm getting The Magician's Apprentice ready for release (finally!!!) along with its follow-up series, The Dragon Mage Chronicles. On top of that, I've been getting an itch to start writing some new stories again. My muses have been working overdrive on that, and I've been telling them firmly to just settle down and let me finish the projects I'm currently working on first. So far they've been listening, but it's hard. I actually feel excited about writing again, which I haven't felt in a very long time. I've actually accomplished quite a lot this year, though. Just to keep my head organized, here is my current to do list. I'm going to list the projects I've completed in addition to the ones that I still have pending, just so I can see visually that I am making progress no matter how far behind I feel: Done: * Pathfinder

Wow, there's a lot more titles there than I thought I'd written. Looking at it listed out this way, it seems as though I'm a quarter of the way done? Yikes. But I do feel accomplished over what I've managed to achieve, and I'm really proud of the work I'm creating. That's what matters in the long run, I think, and that I keep keep moving forward one day at a time. It's hard work, but I really do enjoy it. I'm going to include hyperlinks to the stories in the list up above just in case any of you are interested in reading some more about them. I think the first two books in the House of Silence series will be ready for release in a couple of weeks (I'm thinking June 7th?), but I have no firm dates for the rest of them yet. I've been having a blast creating new covers and promo graphics, and taking a fresh look at the stories to give them a final re-editing before publication. April 15, 2019 I just received the proof for the new release of Pathfinder, which is nearly ready for publication! It turned out absolutely beautiful and I am so excited to share it. I've given the novel a thorough re-editing in anticipation of its debut with my new publisher. While it's the same general story as it was before, I ended up tightening it up quite a bit as well as expanding a few of the passages. All in all, there's about a thousand more words in this newest edition of the story. I'm also excited about the release of Pathfinder 2: The Ouroboros Prophecy, which is following close on the heels of the original book. i don't have a finished proof yet, but it is very, very close to being done. Andrei, however, has more pressing problems on his mind than dealing with the unsolicited advances of one untrained mage-apprentice. A fierce and merciless army of unknown intent is sweeping across the land, threatening the kingdom he has sworn to protect. Even worse, dragons--long thought to have withdrawn from the world of mankind--are emerging once again and spreading chaos in their wake. January 1, 2019 Happy New Year!!! I hope all of you have a wonderful and safe 2019 filled with love, friendship, happiness, and lots of good stories to read. :) Look for lots of changes coming in the new year. Many of my books are shifting publishers starting in 2019, which means there may be a bit of a delay where they will be temporarily unavailable. But they will each come online very soon!!!
